Jen-Hsun “Jensen” Huang is a Taiwanese-American billionaire businessman and electrical engineer. He co-founded the graphics-processor company Nvidia in 1993 and has been its president and chief executive officer since inception. Huang graduated from Oregon State University before moving to California.
Huang was born in the coastal city of Tainan, Taiwan. His family immigrated to the United States and moved to Oneida, Kentucky, and then to Oregon. He graduated from Aloha High School, outside Portland.

Huang received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Oregon State University in 1984, and his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1992. After college he was a director at LSI Logic and a microprocessor designer at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD). On his 30th birthday in 1993, Huang co-founded Nvidia and is the CEO and president. He owns a portion of Nvidia’s stock worth about US$1.3 billion as of 2016. He earned $24.6 million as CEO in 2007, ranking him as the 61st highest paid U.S. CEO by Forbes.
