A colossal Journey

2020-the year that was, every human being on the planet without any exception was impacted and inflicted with untold misery beyond one’s realm of comprehension.

No amount of masks, sanitizers, PPE kits, infrared thermometers, pulse oximeters, immunity boosters, vitamins, clapping, candle lights etc all could not stop the massive – massive march of men, women, children, old, infirm walking during the torrid hot summer, thousands of miles barefoot. Steadfast and determined – were they – to reach home and breathe the fragrance of their native homes.

The year that was.
During such a chaotic and challenging Covid-19 period, the TREA did its moral duty by voluntarily donating a substantial amount to the Government of Telangana State to tackle the pandemic.

With the motto stay safe, stay healthy TREA embarked with lot of Passion and with renewed purpose took upon itself with courage and conviction to keep all our members mentally healthy and happy.
Then commenced the relentless journey on 31st March, 2020 of Zoom meetings and SweeyaAvishkarana-(స్వీయ ఆవిష్కరణ) since july 2020 of our Engineering fraternity and TREA utilised technology extensively and created a plethora of opportunities for mass communication and constant interaction.

Regularly on every Sunday TREA as a ritualis conducting webinars on different topics.Weekly zoom meeting facility given to all District Branches also.

A unique simple platform was created with lot of synergiesand opportunity was given to the members of TREA to share their life time experiences -a message to the youngsters. A big super hit that was the experience the members would cherish and relive their memories for long.

The zoom meetings demonstrated the brilliance of our engineering brethren in the fields they have pursued. The platform felicitated the members to interact and exchange ideas and also motivated many to be a part of enthusiastic group of TREA. It was amply clear that all those connected were nostalgic and said that payback time is through mentorship, knowledge sharing and patronisation. With this they conveyed that it would benefit all the stakeholders of Telangana State.

Every one of us is conscious to the fact that the Association’s representatives were officials of honesty and integrity who have served various Departments of, State, Central, Boards, Corporations, Ltd Companiesetc. and their immense contributions to the State of TS are noteworthy.

We wish to reiterate that all the members of TREA family are basically social scientists and are retired, rather superannuated, but the zeal to serve the have nots is inbuilt.
